Frequently asked questions about

What does detailing stand for?

The English term "detailing" (paint finishing) is unfamiliar to most people, and you are probably wondering what it means. Let us explain:

Detailing refers to the cleaning, care, and protection of your vehicle to the highest standard. When the "preparer" finishes their work, the detailer usually begins with their perfectionist and meticulous approach. They are only satisfied when the entire package (exterior and interior) has been brought to the highest standard in their "eyes." It primarily involves intensive and thorough cleaning of the interior and exterior of the vehicle, which can take several days. For an initial treatment/paint correction (removal of car wash scratches, holograms, paint splatters, paint mist, medium to deep scratches), it can easily take 30-50 hours or even more. The multi-stage polishing process achieves a paint correction of 85% or more! During this process, the scratches are removed and not just filled in as is done by the reconditioner, and they do not reappear even after the 2nd or 3rd wash. To provide long-lasting paint protection, the paint is finished with a high-quality sealant (ceramic or a self-healing ceramic sealant). For more information, see the "Service" page. High-quality cleaners, brushes, polishes, and sealants that can only be purchased from a "detailing specialist" are used for the entire process.

Paint protection film or ceramic coating?

If you are looking for maximum paint protection (e.g. against stone chips or vandalism), there is no way around paint protection film (PPF).
